Some people drink because they think it’s cool. Advertisers make it so attractive with beautiful women and handsome young men. It gets rid of inhibitions so they can do as they please and forget responsibilities. This addiction truly clouds their judgment, ending in death on the highways, unwanted pregnancies and the devastation of families. Having been raised by an alcoholic parent I know firsthand of the hardships on families. Thousands have been successful in overcoming their addiction through AA. This is a great organization that kept my mother sober for her last 35 years. What are some other solutions to this strangling addiction? Please post your solutions below.
